OBM Transplantation—A New Hub in the Network of Transplantation Science

OBM Transplantation is an international peer-reviewed Open Access journal, which covers all evidence-based scientific studies related to transplantation, including: transplantation procedures and the maintenance of transplanted tissues or organs; assimilation of grafted tissue and the reconstitution of removed organs or parts of organs; transplantation of heart, lung, kidney, liver, pancreatic islets and bone marrow, etc. Areas related to clinical and experimental transplantation are also of interest.

OBM Transplantation is committed to rapid review and publication, and we aim at serving the international transplant community with high accessibility as well as relevant and high quality content.

We welcome original clinical studies as well as basic science, reviews, short reports/rapid communications, case reports, opinions, technical notes, book reviews as well as letters to the editor. 

OBM Transplantation welcomes the following types of articles: original research, review, communication, opinion, case report, comment, conference report, technical note, book review, etc. There is no restriction on the length of the papers, color figures, supplementary file types. Biography of the Editor-in-Chief

Suni Pål-Dag Line graduated from the University of Oslo in 1987 and received his PhD degree from the University of Oslo in 1996. Since 2004 he has been Chairman at the Department of Surgery & Transplantation Medicine, Oslo University Hospital. He is board certified in general surgery, vascular surgery and transplant surgery. He holds the position as senior consultant surgeon and within the fields of abdominal transplantation (liver, kidney, pancreas), HPB surgery and vascular surgery as well as professor of surgery at the University of Oslo. He has a particular clinical and scientific experience and interest within the fields of living donation, abdominal vascular disease, liver transplantation, hepatocellular carcinoma, liver regeneration and immunotherapy. He is the Norwegian board member of the Scandinavian organ procurement organisation Scandiatransplant and member of the international transplantation societies TTS, ILTS and ESOT as well as the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, European Surgical Association and International Surgical Group.
